The Bouquet Preservation Process
Prescheduled flowers or a last minute text, (wedding planned for months to roses with a 'Will you be my Girlfriend' kind of flexibility); Get the flowers to me.
The optimal is within 3-5 days of the event, (Ship from anywhere with my packing instructions; bouquet pickup possible in Asheville/WNC area), but I've taken in very tired flowers and made a beautiful piece, so enjoy them and pass them on when you are ready.

I will immediately press them, some whole and some deconstructed. Three weeks later I will un-press and create a collage that represents the spirit and visual structure of the fresh bouquet arrangement from the photo you provide. I will photograph it for future reproduction if you wish (professionally printed notecards are popular and can be ordered at a special value for you to write thank you notes), then seal the piece to remove the oxygen (a color fader). The final art will need to be framed by you.
Many flowers and greens hold their color for many years, while others don’t. There may be changes in the pressed flowers from the fresh, always pleasing in their own beauty.
The contract you will be asked to sign will state that you understand and accept the uncertainties and unknowns.
Flowers to be treasured are not always predictable like wedding bouquets. I hold space for unpredictable flowers such as births and memorials, as well as schedule the predictable ones. We can work together to schedule local pick up or delivery/shipping.
